Anti-offshore Jobs Bill
It looks like I’ve been asleep at the wheel for almost two weeks and haven’t posted anything. Actually, the constraint has been the family PC which hosts my CityDesk weblog application. My wife has been using it to do the family taxes. By the time she finished each night, I was too tired to post. So it has taken me a week to post this news about a new private members plan for House of Representatives Bill which will penalize US companies for moving jobs offshore.
The proposed Defending American Jobs Act was written by Rep. Bernard Sanders, Independent of Vermont, and will be co-sponsored by about 50 other representatives, including Republicans Ron Paul of Texas and Virgil Goode of Virginia.
